STRATEGY AND BUSINESS DECISIONS TOWARDS DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION

Theodoros Rokkas (M) has more than 20 years of experience in working with Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), network providers, equipment suppliers, research institutions, start-ups and academia, helping them develop their strategy and business decisions for digital transformation. He has also participated as a senior researcher in several Horizon H2020 and Horizon Europe research projects, taking on the role of Innovation and Exploitation Leader, helping partners identify the business aspects of the developed solutions and results. This process includes various aspects at a financial and technological level, such as competitive analysis, identifying the value that these new solutions and technologies can offer to the company, cost analysis of the required IT infrastructure and resources, creating a roadmap and detailed business plans. Theodoros' areas of expertise and research interests include business models, technology roadmapping, cost modeling and techno-economic analysis. Theodoros has been a member of the Optical Communications and Broadband Access Laboratory of the University of Athens since 2000. He holds a B.A. in Physics, a M.A. in Electronics and Radiocommunications, and a PhD in Techno-Economic Assessment of Next Generation Networks (NGN), all from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He has more than 50 publications in scientific journals, conferences and 2 book chapters.
