Dimitris is a PhD candidate at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a member of the Management & Economics of Innovation in Telecom Industries Group research group. His PhD thesis focuses on the techno-economic aspects of 6G network deployment, exploring the relationship between technological developments and economic parameters. His research interests include the fields of techno-economics, network design, the Internet of Things (IoT), engineering and innovation management, strategic planning, digital transformation, and web applications. He occasionally works as a freelance consultant in these fields. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Informatics and Telecommunications and a Master’s degree in Computer, Telecommunications and Network Engineering, both from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. At the same time, he enjoys learning and teaching, and currently has designed and teaches two courses in Greek on IoT, Networks & Cloud Computing and DevOps Engineering through the Center for Continuing Education and Training of the University of Athens.
